Getting There Slowly but Surely!

A big thankyou to everyone who has expressed an interest in The Little White Studio Workshops we can't wait for the Autumn when they will be up and running, we are currently working hard to prepare the studio and stock it up with lots of vintage lace and loveliness.  In the meantime here's a little taster of the type of skills we will be covering in the first few workshops.
Amanda and Karen met up today to go through the finer details of the workshops and couldn't resist having a play, working with ephemera, vintage lace and pretty fabrics here's what they came up with..

Join us in September for our first Fabric, Paper, Scissors Workshop and you too could create pretty ditties like this!  Full details on the workshops will be published in a couple of weeks but in the meantime if you would like to be placed on our mailing list please email us at:

Fabric, Paper, Scissors Workshops Coming Soon!

This Autumn join us at The Little White Studio for a "Fabric, Paper, Scissors Workshop" where you will unleash your creative side and make your own collage using vintage photos, old lace, buttons, found objects and ephemera.
Using found and old objects is such a satisfying way to create, making a new work of art from something old.  You can gather materials from just about anywhere glue them down and magically create a work of art.  There are no mistakes, only discoveries. What could be more exicting?
In the "Fabric, Paper, Scissors Workshop" mixed media artist Amanda Howard of Maygreen Fairies and artist Karen Evans will share their favourite collage techniques and invite you to play with basic collage materials in fun and imaginative ways.  Amanda and Karen will guide you with friendly advice on how to develop your artistic voice and turn an ordinary collage into something special.
All of this will take place at "The Little White Studio" in the grounds of Karen's home in the little village of Horam, East Sussex.  Workshops will commence in the Autumn of 2012, more detailed information on this workshop will follow shortly so please check back regularly for the itinerary and costings, or if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at
