Amanda & Karen invite you to view their Studio in Horam, come and see what's on offer for the remainder of 2013 into 2014, browse handmade Christmas gifts, art and décor from local Artists and Makers and try your hand at Watercolour!  Tea, Coffee, Cake & Mulled Wine will be available plus a Raffle of Gifts, Watercolour & Craft Sessions, with all proceeds from the Raffle going to the Friends of Maynards Green School.  We held this event last Christmas and it was well attended and

very much enjoyed by all who came.  You can also view the Studio and chat with our Workshop instructors about the Classes on offer and also our Arty Parties.

Maygreen Fairies 

Unusual handmade gifts from our Tutor Amanda Howard.  Amanda's work has been published in several Art Publications and will be appearing at this years Selvedge Fair in the Kings Road, Chelsea.  She will have a selection of items available for sale at the Open Studio and you will be able to talk with her about her art and also the Workshops she offers at The Little White Studio.

Amanda's creations include: Greetings Card, Tags, Bookmarks, Jewellery, Home Décor, Fairy Jars & Cages, to name but a few. She is well known for her Bespoke Bottled Mermaids & Fairies, where you can have an image of a loved one bottled as a whimsical creature!

 

Wellingham Herb Co.

A local Sussex family run business creating beautiful Soaps, Liquid Soaps, Bath Salts, Candles and also gorgeous Soap Dishes.  They blend natural, quality ingredients with a wide selection of aromatic herbs, essential oils and shea butter to create this sumptuous range of products.

The Owner, Becky has had her products appear in Country Homes & Interiors Magazine, as well as being filmed for a BBC Daytime programme due for release early next year.

 

 

 The Flower Workshop

We are delighted to have products from our local Florist & Gift Shop.  Joanna, owner of The Flower Workshop will also be making up two of her beautiful bouquets for the event, one for sale and the other to Raffle.  A selection of her Giftware and some plants will be available.

 

Made By Cath



Formerly Sew Sumptuous, Cath is a local Fabric Artist, who creates pretty designs for your home. She is well known for her Micro Bunting (below) which always sells like hot cakes wherever she goes!  Cath will also have available Fabric Christmas Decorations, Cushions and a Fabric Bunting Advent Calendar that can be made to order.

Back by popular demand, Tanya will be with us again with her fabulous Christmas Wreaths and Garlands.  Her designs were hugely popular at last years Event, and she'll have another gorgeous array of displays this year!

 

The Beauty Corner

 

We will have a small beauty area featuring products for sale to include Hair Products and Nail Polishes, perfect for the up-coming festive season.  Jo our Hair & Beauty expert will be at the event for short periods to assist you and may even do the odd manicure (limited availability, more details on this will be given out nearer the event).

 

Belle Chic

A pretty collection of pieces for your home, all extremely well priced, these little pretties make great gifts for friends and family, be sure to check our Belle Chic during your visit.

 

And for the Foodie Fans we will have the wonderful Wendy from Wish End Farm with her scrumptious homemade Jams and Preserves, you can find out more about Wendy, Wish End Farm and The Cosy Coop here!

Arty Parties at The Little White Studio

Why not hold your Childs Birthday Party at The Little White Studio!  Our Arty Parties are great fun, with taylor made art / crafts to suit the individual from colourful canvasses to decorative journals, watercolour fun or mixed media madness!!  There's something for all tastes and ages from 6/7yrs upwards.

Tutors, Karen and Amanda will supply their expertise, art supplies and Studio for the Party and then a large kitchen where you (the parent) can organise the party food and the children can sit around a large table to enjoy their Party Banquet afterwards.

We have held parties for teenagers also with a more grown up theme, and also Hen Parties for adults, most small Arty Parties can be catered for, for your special occasion, so please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Parties start at £10.50 per person, per hour, Amanda or Karen will be happy to talk through your party arrangements and if you wish to view the Studio prior to booking your are more than welcome to, please request this to set up a mutually convenient time.

SPOOKTACULAR - Kids Half Term Halloween Workshops

**SPOOKTACULAR** Children's Half Term Halloween Workshops - Wednesday 30th October 10.30am to 12.30pm or 1pm to 3pm. Kids will have great fun creating Halloween paper dolls and Pumpkin Carving.

Costs: £7.50 per hour, total £15.00, this includes all materials and refreshments of juice and Halloween themed biscuits. Places are limited so to ensure your childs place please email for an application form, or visit our Facebook Page for more details

Adult Weekly Workshops

Every Friday morning from 10am till 12noon at The Little White Studio, we run Adult Art & Craft Workshops covering all manor of arty loveliness from Collaged Art Cards (above) to personalised Greetings Cards (below)....  We use mixed media techniques, work with various mediums and have lots of fun, laughter and chat along the way.

Memory Collage's are one of our popular classes (below), whereby you bring in family memorabilia and create a Memory Board on any medium, we have done lots on canvas, old photo album covers, leather book covers, to name but a few.

We've even collaged onto fabric and turned them into lavender hearts, like the one below......  No two mornings are ever the same, we create a wide variety of Arty Loveliness which is why our regulars keep coming back time and again.

Another of our popular workshops are the Upcycled Photo Frames (below) covered in vintage ruler and yardstick images, vintage tape measure images and also old music sheet paper.  They are such great fun to create and also make fabulous gifts for friends and family.

Here is one of our latest participants who travelled all the way from Ireland to attend a workshop, where she made a "Captured Fairy"..... yes, I did say captured fairy, pretty much anything goes!!!

Mother & Daughter Workshops

 

Our Mother & Daughter Workshops will run on Saturday mornings throughout the late Summer/Autumn, the first is Saturday 14th September 10am to 12.30pm.  During the workshop you will each create a pretty canvas using Mixed Media Techniques resulting in something similar to the image above, created by our own Amanda Howard. 

Ages from 7yrs upwards only and  no experience is necessary. Places are limited so to reserve your space please email or Facebook Message Amanda or Karen via The Little White Studio Facebook Page and we will in turn send you out an Application Form to confirm your reservation.... It'll be a lovely relaxing session for you to spend some quality time creating with your Daughter with some tea and cake thrown in for good measure! COST: £18.75 per person.

Children's Summer Workshop - Last Few Spaces Remain!!!

Our Children's Summer Workshops are proving to be very popular, we have only three spaces left for our 2nd August Workshop, so if your child would like to attend please contact Amanda or Karen using the "Email Us" link, top right, to request an Application Form.  There are just four places left on the workshop for 9th August, so hurry before they all go!!

Classes are suitable for both Boys & Girls aged between 7 and 11yrs.  During the workshop your child will have the choice of producing Art on Canvas or a Decorative Journal (see example below).

Please also remember if you are wanting to send your Child on one of our Summer Workshops either Friday 2nd or Friday 9th August from 10am until 12.30pm, places are limited so to avoid dissapointment please complete a

address so we can send it out to you) and 

return with payment no later than 23rd July.
